Studworth ("Studworth", "we", "us") is a mobile app that identifies LEGO® sets, minifigures, and parts from a photo and helps you track your collection's estimated value over time. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By using Studworth, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
When you create an account, you sign in with Google (and Apple, where available). We receive and store a unique identifier from that provider, your email address, and your display name. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.
When you save items to your collection, we store the item's catalog identifiers (type, ID, name), the quantity and condition you select, the price you tell us you paid (optional), any value you set or confirm yourself (optional), and any notes you add.
When you scan an item, the photo is sent to our servers and to our AI provider (Anthropic) to identify the LEGO item in it, and is processed to find visually similar catalog items. We do not store your scan photos on our servers. Saved collection items use a catalog reference image, not your photo.
If you subscribe to Studworth Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive your subscription state (for example, active or expired) and a subscription identifier. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
Like most online services, our servers automatically record basic technical information such as IP address and request logs for security, debugging, and reliability. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run Studworth, and only as needed to provide the service:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.
We keep your account and collection data for as long as your account is active. Scan photos are processed transiently and are not retained on our servers. When you delete your account, we delete your account and the collection data associated with it.
Studworth is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our service providers are located in the United States, so your information will be processed there. By using Studworth, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and we may notify you in the app. Your continued use of Studworth after a change means you accept the updated policy.
